Humpty Dumpty?
I just had a startling realisation in Art Class right now. A kid in my class was singing Humpty Dumpty. You know the tune. "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty back together again" that one. On the story books there's a cute little egg on the front sitting on a wall. I've just had a haunting realization.
Nowhere in the nursery rhyme does it say Humpty Dumpty is an egg...
The walls have ears
Diana: you know how people side listen to other people's conversation. i wonder if anyone ever hears our psycho conversations
Me: ( across the table, thinking) you have no idea.

when they can fly anywhere on the earth,

The Fifth Estate
Movie Review for The Fifth Estate:
I have recently seen The Fifth Estate in theaters and, though i usually try not to be a critic, i felt i need to get my opinion onto this blog of mine. i didn't particularly like it. I'm a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch and I was actually looking forward to this movie for quite some time now hoping it would be put among the other brilliant hackavist movies before it. But I suppose i set the bar too high and was bound to be disappointed anyway. The pace of the movie was a bit slow in some areas and i found myself focused on 'staying focused' rather than on the movie itself. I also found their view of the Bradley Manning case a bit boring where i thought it would be much more interesting and captivating for the audience. The character's, being actual people, were regular and 'human' but Benedict's role was slightly...dull. He played it well, but the character itself didn't strike me as memorable (though it is an actually person) or a good fit for him. In addition to that, some of the dialogue and scenes in the movie were unneeded and took time that could have been used for something else. In all, i'm guess i was just expecting something else and therefore, are disappointed.

An Alternative.
My friend discovered this picture not too long ago by chance and sent it to me. This picture had a strong impact on me. The photograph has been titled 'An Alternative' and is by Hadidjah from Deviantart.com. I think this picture is positively beautiful. It shows exactly that, an alternative, to cutting and the scars just add more to the powerful picture. To all out there who cut, who are or have been suicidal, if you reading this now, you've survived through whatever it is that's put you in this state for this long and i'm so proud of you. You're a survivor. You're beautiful. You may have scars from the war but they just show how many hurdles you've leaped over. If you ever need anyone to talk to send me a message at my Tumblr and i'll answer you. Even if it's just about your day or you need to get something off your chest. I'm willing to listen.

Getting to know Taxi
This one will probably be long and for some boring. I usually like to know a bit about a person before i start talking to them so without further adieu:
Well, that's a little bit about myself for those of you who cared enough to read through it. Have a fantastic night/day/evening

50 Questions for TaxiCabToNowhereland
1. What is your name? I try to stay away from the whole name thing. Mother always says to keep that information to yourself (not that anyone does). Just call me Taxi.
2. Where are you from? I'm from America, New York to be exact.
3. How old are you? around 17 (i say around because i'm turning 17 soon)
4. What's your favorite color? lavender or tangerine, i could never decided.
4. How are you? I'm alive so i can't complain. More fortunate than most so i'm doing well i guess.
5. What's your favorite subject in school? Probably...Sculpture. I enjoy making things with my hands.
6. What's your favorite things to do? I love to write and read more than the average person my age. I actually find reading more interesting than talking to people sometimes...
7. What's your favorite book? You don't ask an artist what his/her favorite painting is, do you? It's so hard to choose just one. I do enjoy children's poetry like Shel Silverstein's 'Everything on it' and young adult novels like Jay Asher's 'Thirteen Reasons Why' though.
8. What's your favorite movie? Another hard one, so many brilliant movies out there to choose from. probably 'The Breakfast Club' or 'Shawshank Redemption'
9. What's your favorite Shows? I love the shows Sherlock, Doctor Who, Leverage, and Supernatural. I also love 90's Cartoon network such as Ed, Edd, and Eddy (brings me back to a simpler time in my life)
10. What's your favorite food? Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast.
11. What's your favorite Drink? I love Tea!!! My favorite type is Blueberry (i sometimes add Marshmallows) i don't drink much else but water.
12. What do you do for fun? I love to read and write for fun. i also like to paint the walls of my room. i'm terribly boring so i don't believe i do many things others would find fun for fun.
13. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? There's a swing in Ecuador on the edge of a cliff. It has no safety measures and if something where to happen you'd go plunging down the cliff side and possibly to your death. I know it may sound crazy but I've wanted to swing on it for the longest time. It's called the 'Swing at the End of the World.'
14. What are some things that make you really happy? I don't know really. Little things tend to make me the happiest. Full moons, Christmas Songs in November, Heavy snow in December, the warm glow of a lava lamp's light, jellyfish, fresh baked cookies. The little things make me happy. (it took everything in me not to sing 'My favorite things' while typing this)
15. What are some things that make you really sad? Again it's the little things that make me sad too. when it rains on a beautiful day, when people bully, destruction, hatred, other people's sadness. The little things make me just as sad.
16. What's do you like least about yourself? I struggle with social anxiety and i hate it.
17. What's the first thing you notice about a person? When i was little, i learned that 'the eyes are the windows to the soul' and now it's become habit that the first place i look when meeting a new person is their eyes.
18. Do you think God exists? I'm an atheist so no but i'm open minded and i'm perfectly fine with others who believe he/she does exist.
19. What's your ideal partner? Loyal, mature, intelligent. Simple as that.
20. Favorite Quote? So many to choose from... Steven Pressfield, The War of Art. "If you find yourself asking yourself (and your friends), "Am i really a writer? Am i really an artist?" chances are you are. The counterfeit innovator is wildly self-confident. the real one is scared to death."
21. Do you write things down to remember them? Depends what it is. I tend to throw them on the ground. My room is usually spotless so when i wake up in the morning or walk into the room i'll pick it up and wonder why it's there and then remember why i needed it.
22. Phobias? slight Astraphobia (fear of Thunder and lightning) it was worse when i was a younger. Monophobia perhaps too but then again, i'm fine when i'm left alone in the house so i guess i'm not afraid of being alone, i'm afraid of being lonely.
23. Favorite Disney film? Tough, Probably Mulan. Though, i do love Beauty and the Beast and Tangled
24. Where would you like to go on a first date? i'm not really a big 'wine and dine' kind of person. We could just have Chinese food and sit on the couch together watching a Doctor Who marathon and i'd be happy.
25. Who are your best friends? I don't particularly like the term 'best friend'. it makes me feel like i'm putting one friend ahead of another. but my closest friends would have to be Phoebe and Scarlet.
26. What is your favorite joke? 'Knock, Knock. (Who's there?) Owls. (Owls who?) Yes they do.' for some reason i find this hilarious.
27. What are some of the first things you do in the morning? Roll over, shut off the 'Doctor Who' theme song alarm i have, and ready myself for another day.
28. Superhero or Super villain? All depends on the power. Telekinesis: Villain. Healing Abilities: Hero. It all varies with me.
29. Favorite Candle Scent? I've always found this question odd. But regardless, probably sugar cookies or peppermint.
30. Most used insult? I find myself calling other people 'Fucktrucks.' or 'Muggles.' depending on my mood when i want to be quick to the point. Other than that, i insult intelligence i suppose (ex. 'Ew, don't touch me' "why would i want to touch you, i might caught your stupid" 'Taxi, stop being an ass' "The stupid has gone airborne")
31. First thoughts when waking up? 'Will this be the day i finally snap and kill every person i see in a 100 mile radius?'
32. Wings or Gills? Wings! I've wanted wings every since i was a child. I know its irrational but just the thought of being high over the cities, above all those forced to cling to the Earth's crust, that would be paradise.
33. Reaper or Angel? Reaper, i actually had this discussion not too long ago. I believe the life of a reaper would be more 'interesting'.
34. Do you talk/sing to yourself? At any given time during any given day you will find me either talking to myself or singing some kind of tune. my personal picks these few months are songs like 'Music of the Night' from Phantom of the Opera, 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables' from Les Miserable, 'A little fall of rain' also from Les Miserable and 'Bullet' by Hollywood Undead.

36. Have you ever hopelessly failed a test? I once received a 47% on a math test. Not my proudest moment.
37. Can a heterosexual male ever wear pink? i don't see what the wearing a certain color has to do with a male's sexual orientation. He would wear tights and a tutu and still be straighter than an arrow. Clothes don't make the man.
38. If you were a warning label, what would you say? Caution, Idiots will be shot on sight.
39. What song would you say sums you up? Reflections from Mulan or Be Ok by Ingrid Michaelson
40. You're walking to work and you see a dog drowning in a canal. Your boss said you'd be fired if you were late again. do you save the dog? Without a thought, a job isn't worth more to me than the dog's life. he may not be human but he has feelings, he can feel fear and i don't want that. I'd probably die with him though. i don't know how to swim.
41. Do you believe in love at first sight? No. I believe that means you just fall in love with the way a person looks. personally don't believe in love either.
42. Favorite book beginning with F? 'Falling Up' by Shel Silverstein
43. Favorite Song starting with an I? 'I don't want to live on the moon' from Sesame Street
44. Question on your mind lately? Beside the usual, what are we doing on earth? what is our purpose? Is there life after death? What is the meaning to life questions?.......What in blue hell is Homestuck?!?! I've heard people talk about nothing but Homestuck

46. War, good or bad? I'm already against the next war.

49. Quirk? Whenever i'm sad i get a strip of paper and on one side write what's troubling me and then fold them into Tanabata stars and put them in a jar. After the jars gotten too full i burn them, similar to burning away the sadness.

Well, that's a little bit about myself for those of you who cared enough to read through it. Have a fantastic night/day/evening
