An Alternative.

My friend discovered this picture not too long ago by chance and sent it to me. This picture had a strong impact on me. The photograph has been titled 'An Alternative' and is by Hadidjah from Deviantart.com. I think this picture is positively beautiful. It shows exactly that, an alternative, to cutting and the scars just add more to the powerful picture. To all out there who cut, who are or have been suicidal, if you reading this now, you've survived through whatever it is that's put you in this state for this long and i'm so proud of you. You're a survivor. You're beautiful. You may have scars from the war but they just show how many hurdles you've leaped over.
